Our Focus

Focused on empowering tomorrow’s leaders, the foundation provides resources, programs and events that encourage leadership in today’s youth. The Youth Leadership Academy provides an opportunity for younger generations to make a difference within their communities and among their peers. At the IRIE Foundation we believe leaders play an essential role in the foundation and success of any enterprise. Our hope is to equip our future leaders with the education needed to help optimize productivity, work effectively within a team setting, and promote access to future learning. By empowering tomorrows leaders today, through the Youth Leadership Academy, you are improving the global community by diversifying leaders and bringing new comprehensive perspectives to the front lines.

  The Program itself consists of young person’s age 14-22 who will participate in hands-on experiences, events, and day-in-the-life visits. The two-week program provides experiential learning in leadership, entrepreneurship, money management, self-awareness and development. When finished the students will have created breakthroughs, moved beyond fears and limiting beliefs, accomplished goals, and realized true desires. The academy also encourages volunteers to participate as ambassadors, coaches, and alumni. The Youth Leadership Academy is held in conjunction with major universities in the particular city in which it is being hosted.   Arts & Culture plays a critical piece in the learning process, as there will be drama used in role play, speech to build both confidence and presentation skills and digital skills to embed technology as a means of problem solving. Over the two-weeks the Foundation also offers three-four visits to major Art & Cultural events in which participants will have to prepare and present on how they see the visit impacting and changing their outlook on life.
